Strategic Modeling and Simulation Convention – Gathering the Opus Suite France User Community at the French MoD

On November 13, Systecon participated in the Opus Suite France User Convention, held at the French Ministry of Defense’s Balard site in Paris.

Organized with support from the Direction générale de l'armement (DGA)/SLI and the Agence de l’innovation de défense (AID) the convention brought together key industry and defense stakeholders, including representatives from Safran, Arquus, Thales, and SIMMT.

The convention provided a strategic platform to review the latest advancements in modeling and simulation technologies within France, underscoring Opus Suite’s critical role in enhancing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) performance. The agenda covered highly relevant topics, including:

• High-intensity warfare
• The evolving war economy and 
• The shift toward vertically integrated MRO operations with defense manufacturers.

In response to a challenging geopolitical landscape, discussions emphasized how innovations in digital twins, artificial intelligence, complex modeling, and advanced strategic simulations are transforming defense supply chains to ensure the operational sustainability of complex weapons systems.

Systecon’s Opus Suite experts joined these vital conversations in Paris, reflecting our commitment to supporting defense organizations in navigating complex logistical demands with precision and efficiency.
