Systecon is the ILS manager in a procurement project for 33 new regional trains for the Mälardalen region in Sweden. The client is Transitio AB which is purchasing the vehicles from Stadler.

The ILS manager is responsible for all matters relating to vehicle reliability, availability and maintainability. The aim is to ensure the vehicles and the maintenance solution are ready for a reliable and cost-efficient operation after delivery.

We have the insight into how all parts included in the delivery of the vehicles are interconnected. In other words, how all deliverables, such as vehicles, spare parts, special tools, documentation and maintenance plans, are integrated parts of a totality,” says Jon Haugsbak at Systecon.
