German Opus Suite User Group – on site in Cologne!
Opus Suite user conferences are always highlights in the calendar for us, and even more so this year, ever since it became hopeful they could be held as physical events. After 18+ months of pandemic restrictions and virtual meetings, it was great to meet face-to-face with the D-A-CH user community this week in Cologne.
The full two-day schedule was kicked off with two keynote presentations, first by the German Ministry of Defence and then by the University of Bw München, both offering inspiring perspectives on Life Cycle Management and its application. The agenda also included appreciated user presentations by Rheinmetall, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, Hensoldt and Graband, on different aspects and experiences from utilizing and integrating Opus Suite. This was intermixed by Systecon presentations that included an outlook and vision going forwards and focus presentations on new capabilities in the most recent release of Opus Suite RDM 2021, on the development of enhanced integration capabilities and on developments and applications within Artificial Intelligence and Heuristic Optimization.
While some Corona-related restrictions remain in place, the event still provided ample opportunity to mingle and share stories and experiences. Many thanks to all attendees for your contributions and active participation. We hope to see you soon again, and are now also looking forward to the user conference in London next week!
