Systecon på Systems Engineering-konferens i USA

The 14th Annual Systems Engineering Conference was held in San Diego, CA, October 24-27, 2011.

Systecon participated as both exhibitor and presenter of a paper on ”Simulation as support for decision making in negotiations”. The paper shows how to use Systecons software suite when analyzing the risk and anticipated effect of the so-called Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts. With modeling and simulation as a basis, reward-functions can be assessed regarding the expected reward (or penalty) given a certain logistical arrangements.

The conference was arranged by National Defense Industrial Association, NDIA, with about 400 visitors. The focus of the conference was improving acquisition and performance of Defense programs and systems, including net-centric operations and data/information interoperability, system-of-systems engineering and all aspects of system sustainment.
